My name is Anne Ahern and I have served the people of Carlow with pride and integrity as a Town and County Councillor over the past ten years.
Madeline was first elected to office in 1999 and has much experience in local politics; her father Andy O’Brien represented the people of Cavan before her. Madeline is married to Terry and they have four children. She is deeply committed to improving access facilities for the disabled and is also a supporter of many local charities such as the CSPCA.
Mary Howard was elected as a Councillor to Ennis Town Council in 2009 and she was subsequently elected as a County Councillor in the 2014 Local Elections..
Lil O’Donnell is an Anti Austerity Alliance councillor for the Cork City North central ward. She is a founding member of the We Won’t Pay campaign in Cork.
I am a community activist for the last thirty years and can longer stand to see the impact austerity has had on working class communities, all while the government continues to bail out the rich at the expense of ordinary people .
