Alderman Maurice Devenney (born 28 May 1958) is a British politician formerly of the Democratic Unionist Party who previously represented Foyle in the Northern Ireland Assembly. He took office on 20 October 2014 after succeeding retiring party member William Hay.[2] He resigned in April 2015 to concentrate on his council work.

Hugh (Gus) Hastings was first elected to Derry City Council to represent the Rural ward in 2011, regaining his seat in the new amalgamated council in 2014. He has chaired the council’s Environmental Services Committee and sat on the Development Committee and Policy and Resources Committee amongst others.
